David and Lorraine were delightful ‘hosts’. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was very well equipped and everything was of the highest standards. The situation was perfect , a shortish walk down country lanes to both the local pub and village shop. Finally , we must mention our little friend Bertie who ran to greet us each day with a little bark and the ‘locals’ who were exceptionally friendly. Highly recommended.

The cottage was perfect. Clean and tidy, uncluttered and easy to live in. The owners are friendly, available and welcoming. Great place to stay for a week away either relaxing or visiting the local attractions. Highly recommended.

Croft cottage was everything we expected and more. We tend to eat in and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to create our meals. Bed and bedded was spotless and really comfortable. Perfect location for exploring the area without having to travel long distances. Shepton Mallet, few mins drive for all the necessary supplies. Very friendly, helpful owners. Thank you

We had a great time here. The cottage was lovely and well equipped. In a pretty setting. Very friendly & helpful owners. We had fun using the BBQ and our daughter enjoyed seeing Bertie the dog at times. Was a great base for seeing lots of places including Wells, Bath, Weston Super Mare, Cheddar Gorge & Longleat. Hope to return for another stay.

Lovely cottage with a relaxing feel. Gardens are well looked after and there is a outside decking area to sit/eat, with wonderful views as the sunsets - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy to reach surrounding area (and further a field), with lots to do, plenty of places to eat and areas to walk. Owners were very helpful and welcoming

Absolutely wonderful cottage in a gorgeous location. We chose this place as it seemed central for us to explore and it was just perfect. Wells, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Bath,Bristol and Durdle Door where all within 90 minutes drive but most where within 60 minutes at most. If you are looking to explore the area this is the place to be. The cottage itself was perfect for us and had everything we needed. My only regret is we where so busy exploring we didn’t have time to fully enjoy it and the wonderful garden or bbq hut. Maybe this is a good excuse to return lol.

Lovely cottage to stay in, very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and a great base for exploring Somerset. BBQ hut was fun and a nice outdoor space for kids to run around. Very quiet at night. Owners very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to go back.

We had a lovely week. A clean and tidy cottage with everything we needed...apart from nice weather! Lovely gardens. Easy access to Cheddar, Wells, Wookey Hole, etc.

Lovely cottage. Our two young girls really enjoyed the large grass space in front to play in, and the adjacent field occasionally had different animals which they loved to see. We enjoyed it because it really did feel like we were away from it all. The cottage is on a lane about 75yrs from the main road which meant it was easy to get out and about every day without any long lengths of single track road which you can sometimes end up on. Good location to get to Wells, Cheddar, Bath and the many other attractions in that corner of Somerset. And you're only 5-10 mins from Shepton Mallet which is well served with a couple of supermarkets. The interior of the cottage is well presented throughout and was spacious enough for our young family. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival. We never got around to using the BBQ hut, but I can see that would be a good evening, possibly for an older group, to sit, relax and share a meal in the evening. Friendly owners. Would recommend.

A lovely cottage set in a beautiful spot with really great hosts! What more could we ask for? It had it all, a well stocked kitchen, a cozy sitting room, comfy beds, and an amazing outdoor space! There was ample room inside for our family of five, and so well equipped too, our teenagers enjoyed the extra touches such as board games, books, DVD's including the amazing outdoor space complete with goals! The adults particularly enjoyed sitting outside taking in the view with a small refreshment, after a busy day exploring the surrounding area!

Such a fantastic place to stay! Mendip Molly has everything you need under a lovely painted ceiling. Well stocked with lovely extra touches such as hot water bottles, rugs, books and games. There was a great pub, The Horse and Jockey, literally a 10 minute walk, that does amazing home cooked food, although Molly has everything you need to cook yourselves. Lovely comfy, warm bed which you could lie in and listen to the birds in the morning. We’ll definitely be back, we loved every minute.

We totally fell in love with mendip molly. The area is beautiful and the showman’s wagon was just perfect. The interior is just as gorgeous as the exterior. Considering it is a wagon it feels unexpectedly spacious inside. We used the outdoor living room to enjoy our morning coffee. We cooked in the bbq hut which was amazing. As soon as we arrived at mendip molly I instantly felt relaxed. The owners are very kind and have thought of every last detail to make anyone’s stay enjoyable

We had a wonderful break away from everyday pressures and most technology, in a characterful caravan with everything we needed, secluded yet minutes away from amenities. Everything was very comfortable and well equipped, with an amazing use of the available space and a sheltered outdoor lounge. The composting toilet was very clever and effective and the wood burner was great once we mastered it. The bed was snug and warm. Carefully chosen decor and accessories. We looked out onto views and animals from our front door. We liked the area as well, which we had not visited before.

Mendip Molly is a gorgeous converted showman's caravan, complete with mod-cons. Check in and directions to the accommodation was simple and well organised. The caravan is situated on the owners site, along with two other cottages, but it's hidden away in the corner of the grounds giving you lots of privacy. Although be prepared for a visit from the adorable Bertie (the owner's dog), he loves coming to visit! The caravan was spotlessly clean and David and Laraine were on hand if necessary (to delivery extra logs for the fire). The bbq hut is amazing and was super toasty warm on a chilly Saturday evening. The caravan is located near Radstock and Shepton Mallet in Somerset and is perfect for visiting the lovely city of Wells. The Mendip Inn just down the road is highly recommended for a Sunday lunch and the Horse and Jockey in Binegar is a lovely pub with friendly staff.

Brilliant all round location - especially in the current climate of Covid-19. The accommodation is located well away from other buildings and surrounded by trees and open fields. Possibly as safe as you can be, away from others. We have a very playful and inquisitive Cockapoo and we managed to fence the area off to contain him! Inside the travellers trailer is beautiful. Everything was there on hand. We had a little mixed weather and even then, the accommodation is so well set up. Mollie's Front room is a lovely quirky area - perfect for use as we sat around playing guitar by the fire until late entertained by the amazing display of bats! We took our cooking tripod with us and utilised the fire pit for cooking although there are full facilities in Mendip Mollie. I love to cook on open fires, something we do regularly at home but seldom get the chance when we're away. Just a perfect set up! Thank you David & Laraine.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Mendip Molly. She is placed in a secluded part of the owner's garden and is equipped with everything you need. Loved the separate 'front room' !
